Shoreline
Artist Statement: These photos were taken in a small shallow bay off of lake Erie. The water was extremely clear, and the vegetation was flourishing. A challenge I faced while taking these photos was trying to keep the boat still, in order to keep the image clear.
Water
Artist Statement: These images were also taken on lake Erie. I liked the way the sky and the water meet and the forest to create symmetry. While taking these photos, it was challenging to catch the light where it didn't over expose the rest of the image.
Mountain
Artist Statement: These pictures were taken on a mountain trail in Puerto Rico. We can across this natural waterfall, and rock formation. A challenge I faced while taking these pictures was, getting the camera to focus on the foreground of the waterfall.
Palm Trees
Artist Statement: These photos were also taken on a mountain trail in Puerto Rico. I chose to take these images because I loved the way the green of the trees contrasted against the color of the sky. I struggled with taking these photos because the fog caused them to turn out a bit blurry, but I liked the way they turned out after editing.
Flowers
Artist Statement: I took these photos before school in a small patch of flowers. I chose to photograph this flower because, the way the morning dew settled on the flower was very beautiful. The way the morning dew adds another layer to the flower is very beautiful in my opinion.
